• Born: 21 October 1984, Greenwich • Signed: 2 July 2001, trainee • Other Previous Clubs: West Ham United • Debut: 23 Oct 2002 v Olympiakos (A) Champions League • International Team: England Kieran's Manchester United career was helped immeasurably by a loan spell at Bryan Robson's West Bromwich Albion towards the end of the 2004/05 season. The winger had burst onto the scene at Old Trafford with a home debut goal against Leicester on 5 November 2002, but had subsequently found first-team opportunities hard to come by, hence the decision to gain vital Premiership football at the Hawthorns. Kieran's performances were noted by England coach Sven Goran Eriksson, who promptly enlisted the winger for his side's pre-season tour of the United States. Richardson's fine form continued as he scored two goals on his international debut to cap an incredible few months in his fledgling career.
