A move to the Theatre of Dreams? The Irish youngster has put in a series of superb performances for David O'Leary's side, attracting the interests of clubs such as Liverpool and Manchester United. However, despite the attentions of these starry sides, Davis says he wants to stay loyal to the club which gave him his big break. 'I signed a new long-term contract last March and am more than happy to be a Villa player,' Davis said. 'The club brought me over here as a kid and looked after me. They gave me my chance, and you don't forget that in a hurry. This time last year, I was still hoping I might get an opportunity in the first team at some stage. I've only been in the Premiership five minutes, so I can't start thinking I have arrived. There is still plenty of room for improvement and I should be scoring more goals. I've had a bit of licence to push on from midfield and I appreciate the manager showing that sort of faith in me. Now, I've got to show him it isn't misplaced.' Will he be a good enough signing for Sir Alex?
